Minnesota's Biggest Summer Marching Band Competition

TOP CHOPS BRASS LINE
Mankato, Minnesota

1995 HONOR UNIT

The Vikingland Band Festival heartily welcomes Top Chops Brass Line as Honor Unit of the 1995 Festival. Top Chops is dedicated to entertaining audiences while setting new standards of excellence in performance and individual member growth.
Founded in 1994 as an alcohol-free group, Top Chops is based on the concept of Chopstix Percussion, the Festival's Honor Unit in 1992. This innovative, high-intensity group has set out to break the rules of traditional marching bands and drum corps. Because Top Chops has no percussion, the brass line "vocalizes" the marching cadence.
The members -- including Alexandrian JoNette Kuhnau -- hope you enjoy their performance as much as they enjoy performing for you.
