'Drumline LIVE!' stage show beginning national tour

Confirmed U.S. tour dates run October 2010 through March 2011

Drumline Live SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (September 14, 2010) — Drumline LIVE, a theatrical stage show featuring the marching band traditions of America's top Historically Black Colleges and Universities, is set to kick off its 2010-2011 tour which will include performances in more than 65 cities from coast to coast.

The tour launches on October 8, 2010 with a performance at the Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, California.

Drumline LIVE was created by the music team behind 20th Century Fox's hit movie "Drumline," which prominently featured HBCU marching bands in the storyline.

Producers describe the stage production as a show-stopping attraction with riveting rhythms, bold beats, and a versatile group of performers. The show promises today's hottest R&B, hip-hop and classic Motown tunes as well as the rousing sounds of the great marching brass tradition. Group performances range from colorful, choreographed routines to heavy doses of drum riffs and cadences, bringing explosive energy and athleticism to an eclectic mix of sounds. The show features an energetic 40-member cast.
