Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" Schedule


Three shows featuring field exhibitions by Rose Parade bands available as free live webcast

International bands join bands from across the U.S. at Bandfest. Banda Pedro Molina from Guatemala performed in 2009. PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 16, 2011) — Marching bands appearing in the 2012 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 2 will also perform field exhibitions in the annual Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" presented by Remo on December 30-31, 2011.

Each performance of Bandfest features a different slate of seven marching bands and lasts approximately two hours. The first performance will be held Friday, December 30 at 2:00 PM. Two additional performances will be held Saturday, December 31 at 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

Bandfest is held in Pasadena at Robinson Stadium on the campus of Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.

Tickets to the event are $15 each and may be purchased in advance through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171. Same day tickets go on sale approximately one hour prior to the start of each show. Free parking is available onsite in the Lot 4 parking structure.

Free Live Webcast

Another new addition is an expanded assortment of concession options. "Food Trucks @ Bandfest" will feature the area's most popular gourmet food trucks. Look for the trucks in Lot 3 near Hill Street and Del Mar.

The complete Bandfest schedule and approximate performance time for each band is shown below. Pre-show entertainment presented by Remo begins 30 minutes before each show time.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses is a volunteer organization that annually hosts the Rose Parade® presented by Honda, Rose Bowl Game® presented by VIZIO and various associated events. The 123rd Rose Parade themed Just Imagine will take place Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at 8 a.m. (PST) featuring majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands. Following the Rose Parade, the 98th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO will kick off at 2:10 p.m. (PST) and feature an exciting match-up between two of the top collegiate football teams in the nation.
