2015 Rose Parade Lineup

126th Rose Parade features marching bands from Denmark, Mexico and Japan

Bands marching in the 2015 Rose Parade will also perform on the field during Bandfest at Pasadena City College December 29-30. PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2014) — The 2015 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade presented by Honda will step off with another fantastic lineup of colorful floats, top-notch marching bands and majestic equestrian units from across the country and around the world. Themed "Inspiring Stories," the annual procession begins at 8:00 AM (Pacific) on Thursday, January 1.

The Rose Parade will pay special tribute to honor the memory of Grand Marshal Louis Zamperini, who passed away at age 97 on July 2, 2014, less than two months after being announced as this year's Grand Marshal. The Olympian and World War II prisoner of war is the subject of the book and documentary film, "Unbroken." In the parade, University of Southern California's mascot "Traveler" will be presented as a single horse without a rider, symbolizing a fallen soldier. Mr. Zamperini's children and their spouses will follow in a historic vehicle.

Grand Marshal Louis Zamperini will be honored posthumously in the 2015 Rose Parade. The inspiring Olympian and WWII prisoner of war passed away in July. "Louis Zamperini was and will continue to be the embodiment of the 2015 Tournament of Roses theme 'Inspiring Stories.' We are honored to shine the light on one who truly lived a life of unconditional love, courageous perseverance and patient endurance," Tournament of Roses President Richard L. Chinen said.

The Rose Parade will be broadcast on ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA, NBC, RFD-TV, Sky Link TV and Univision.

Curbside viewing is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pasadena city ordinance allows curbside space along the parade route to be occupied no earlier than noon on the day before the parade. Reserved grandstand seating is available through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171.
