Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" Schedule


Three shows feature field exhibitions by Rose Parade bands

Glendora H.S. (CA) was among the bands from across the USA and around the world that performed at Bandfest in 2013. PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2014) — Marching bands appearing in the 2015 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1 will also perform field exhibitions in the annual Tournament of Roses "Bandfest" presented by Remo on December 29-30, 2014.

Each performance of Bandfest features a different slate of six marching bands and lasts approximately two hours. The first performance will be held Monday, December 29 at 1:30 PM. Two additional performances will be held Tuesday, December 30 at 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Pre-show entertainment presented by Remo begins 30 minutes before each show time.

Bandfest is held in Pasadena at Robinson Stadium on the campus of Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.

Tickets to the event are $15 each and may be purchased in advance through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171. Children ages five and under are admitted free of charge. Tickets may also be purchased at the venue beginning 30 minutes prior to the performance time, pending availability. Free parking is available onsite in the Lot 4 parking structure.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses is a volunteer organization that annually hosts the Rose Parade® presented by Honda, Rose Bowl Game® presented by Northwestern Mutual and various associated events. The 126th Rose Parade, themed Inspiring Stories, will take place Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at 8 a.m. (PST) featuring majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands. Following the Rose Parade, the 101st Rose Bowl Game will begin with pre-game festivities at 1:30 p.m. (PST) and feature an exciting match-up between Oregon and Florida State in a College Football Playoff Semifinal game.
