2018 Rose Parade Lineup

129th Rose Parade features bands from Australia, Panama, Canada, Japan and across the USA

Bands marching in the 2018 Rose Parade will also perform on the field during Bandfest at Pasadena City College December 29-30. PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2017) — The 2018 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade presented by Honda will step off with another fantastic lineup of colorful floats, top-notch marching bands and majestic equestrian units from across the country and around the world. This year's procession begins at 8:00 AM (Pacific) on Monday, January 1.

The 2018 grand marshal is actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise, who is well known for his portrayal of Lt. Dan Taylor in the film Forrest Gump. Sinise has worked in support of veterans for nearly forty years and in 2011 he established the Gary Sinise Foundation with the mission to honor America's defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need.

"The 2018 theme, 'Making A Difference,' is a way to honor and celebrate all of the people in our communities, who quietly and without desire for reward or recognition, act in selfless, generous and kind ways to aid or benefit others," Tournament of Roses President Lance Tibbet said. "Gary Sinise is absolutely one of those people."

Actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise is serving as Grand Marshal of the 2018 Tournament of Roses. The Rose Parade will be broadcast on ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA, NBC, RFD-TV and Univision.

Curbside viewing is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pasadena city ordinance allows curbside space along the parade route to be occupied no earlier than noon on the day before the parade. Reserved grandstand seating is available through Sharp Seating Company at 626-795-4171.
